Jake goes to Kindergarden!

Oh how time flies! Last week, it was my son's FIRST day of Kindergarden! I didn't know what to expect! I wasn't sure if he'd look for me or start crying...turns out I'M the one teary eyed!!!

He's been waiting to go to school! I didn't enroll him in Pre-School because I thought he didn't need to. He's pretty smart for his age and he gets along with anyone and everyone! So I was nervous to leave him!
Jacob's teacher: Ms Musselman
He was looking at me and his daddy like what are you guys still doing here?!? I took a couple more shots...Looked at him...I wasn't ready to say bye (even if it was only for a few hours! hehe) Even Hubby couldn't take any steps back to leave. If Jaela wasn't with us, we'd probably would have stayed thru the whole class! Finally...after 30 mins of school starting...we waved bye to Jake...it felt like that moment was in SLOW MOTION!!!
When we picked him up, he was so EXCITED to go back to school the next day! Lets see how long that lasts! hehe! My baby boy is all grown up...now, one down and one more to go! LOL!

Mini Ice Cream Cupcakes!!

Those of you that know me, you know I love to bake and try new things.
See the cupcake inside? The top is just regular frosting!
See how mini it is!?! The cone on the left is standard size.

Wanna make your own =)

How to make your own cupcake cones:
♥ Mix your favorite cake/cupcake batter
♥ pour into cones, fill only until the cone changes its "shape"
♥ Bake at 350
♥ I did mines for about 10-15 mins since its mini. Or edges get golden brown
♥ Let cool

To make the soft serve frosting look:
♥ Use any can of frosting of your choice
♥ Nip a corner in bottom of ziplock bag or pastry bag
♥ Put frosting in bag and add swirl to cone

TA-DA and you are done!

Tip 1: be careful of handling cones when moving to oven and out of oven. They tend to fall. I held mines up with foil.
Tip 2: Do NOT over fill! The cupcake will rise after baking
